Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Commission
The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Commission consists of Nine (9) members appointed by the City Council President for three-year terms. The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Commission is responsible for helping the North Adams City Council and the City of North Adams to build a consistent basic understanding and awareness around the important aspects of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.
The mission of the City of North Adams I.D.E.A Commission is to educate, innovate and celebrate the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility by providing workshops and consultations and promoting events in order to uplift and create space for marginalized voices within our city.
