Others Present: William Meranti, (Director of Inspection Services), Melissa Martin (BOH Secretary), Michael Moore (Code Enforcement),
Mark Bushee (Sealer of Weights & Measure), Rachel Branch

Chairman Meaney made a motion to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting, second by October Cellana. Unanimous vote.

Chairman Meaney informed the board that Berkshire Health Alliance was not in attendance.
Rachel Branch (Fracked Gas Infrastructure) Came before the board to ask for a letter of support for Gov. Baker addressing the health hazards of fracked gas infrastructure. Ms. Branch provided the board with materials regarding the health hazards. She proceeded telling the board about her accomplishments and background regarding this issue. She wants to keep our residents healthy with “No Fracked Gas Mass”. Again, asking for a letter of support. Chairman Meaney thanked Ms. Branch for coming and stated that the board will take this under advisement.



Director Moore introduced Mark Bushee as the new Sealer of Weights and Measure. Mark comes from Tri-Town as a Health Inspector. He will inspect restaurants and apartments
Reports (Code Enforcement)
There has been (17) Certificates of Compliance issued since 12/20 to present. (2) Re-inspections, 8 Residential Kitchen inspections, and restaurant inspections and (14) other inspections relating to site inspections, no heat, bugs, rodents, etc.
Condemnations
• 19 Greene Ave - water break
• 113-115 East Quincy Street – water break
• 151 Prospect Street – resident removed for medical reasons. Property unfit for habitation. Several animals were removed.
Director Moore informed the board that he has enrolled in a conference regarding Foodborne Illness and will be attending in February for a 3 day class.
Secretary Martin informed the board that there will not be a meeting in February and the next meeting will be March 21st.
Meeting adjourned @ 4:40pm.
