Mobile Home Rent Control Board

The Mobile Home Rent Control Board consists of five members appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council. Members of the Mobile Home Rent Control Board serve five-year terms and require reappointment by the Mayor and confirmation by the City Council.  Vacancies occurring on the Board may be filled in the same manner, but only for the balance of an unexpired term.

The Mobile Home Rent Control Board is responsible for regulating rents at mobile home properties within the City of North Adams, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 243 of the Acts of 1982 and all relevant city ordinances related to mobile home properties.
